Steps

  1. 1Dissolve the sugar in water over low heat to make a syrup, then let cool.
  2. 2Combine the wine, syrup, lemon juice, cinnamon, and lemon peel in a large container and macerate for 5-7 days, refrigerated.
  3. 3Strain and serve chilled over ice, garnished with a peach slice.
