  • 2 oz
  • Lemon juice0.75 oz
  • Simple syrup0.75 oz
  • Egg white(optional)

Glassware: Rocks glass

Ice: Fresh cubes

Equipment: Hawthorne strainer, Jigger, Cocktail shaker

Steps

  1. 1Add bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup (and egg white, if using) to a shaker without ice and dry-shake for 15 seconds.
  2. 2Add ice and shake hard for 15 more seconds.
  3. 3Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
  4. 4Garnish with an orange peel and cherry.
