Steps

  1. 1Combine wine, brandy, demerara syrup, cinnamon, and orange peel in a saucepan.
  2. 2Heat gently until steaming, without boiling, for 15-20 minutes.
  3. 3Ladle into mugs, leaving a cinnamon stick and orange peel in each.
