Malort and grapefruit juice shaken with a squeeze of orange, finished with an orange twist -- a Chicago rite of passage made into a tastier cocktail.

Glassware: Cocktail glass
Ice: Ice cubes
Equipment: Jigger, Cocktail shaker
Steps
- 1Add the Malort and grapefruit juice to a cocktail shaker filled with ice, as well as the juice from one orange wedge. Shake vigorously.
- 2Strain the resulting mixture into a cocktail glass.
- 3Take an orange twist and rub it rind-side down along the rim of the cocktail glass.
- 4Drop the orange twist into the bottom of the glass.
